Created by the Commonwealth Fund Commission on a High Performance Health System, the National Scorecard on U.S. Health System Performance is the first-ever comprehensive means of measuring and monitoring health care outcomes, quality, access, efficiency, and equity in one report. This forum shared state and national findings from this report. Panelists included Dr. Stephen Schoenbaum, Executive Vice President for Programs at the Commonwealth Fund and Stan Rosenstein, Deputy Director, Medical Care Services, California Department of Health Services. Mr. Rosenstein represented Sandra Shewry, Director, California Department of Health Services. Ms. Shewry was unable to attend due to a late change in her schedule.

Dr. Schoenbaum is the executive director of the Commission on a High Performance Health System and Ms. Shewry is a member of the Commission.
