2009 ForumsForums are interactive briefings designed to inform legislative and agency staff on topical health issues. Findings from an annual legislative and executive branch staff survey, along with input from the Steering Committee and Advisory Committee, determine what topics are selected and how forum sessions are structured. In order to provide a safe harbor for open and candid conversations, only legislative and executive branch staff are invited to most sessions. While particular policy solutions may arise during forum sessions, CAHPF is a nonpartisan organization that does not advocate any particular policy positions. Forums are typically 1.5-2 hours in length and scheduled on Thursday afternoons or Fridays. |
